AmbienteSafe™ system is able to eliminate bacteria, pollutants, allergens and even the Covid-19 in its variants

The Covid-19 pandemic does not slow down and profoundly affects our daily habits. Each of us must protect our own health and that of others. The vaccine and the use of masks and hand sanitizers are essential, they protect us individually, but the problem to be solved goes much further. To avoid the resurgence of the contagion, we must make sure that every internal environment is free from the presence of Covid-19, which, due to a distraction or lack of attention, would continue to spread, affecting us and others.

Official documents of the Italian Istituto Superiore di Sanità, with recommendations on the sanitization of non-healthcare facilities in the COVID-19 emergency, and of the United States Environmental Protection Agency – Air Cleaners, HVAC Filters, and Coronavirus (COVID-19), in addition to others mentioned in the documents, describe in detail the functionality and effectiveness of sanitizing and air purifying devices in the fight against indoor pathogens and pollutants.

NTP (Non Thermal Plasma) technology generates highly reactive hydrogen and oxygen ions by exploiting the water microparticles suspended in the air which manage to damage the proteins of the virus membrane. By applying the electrostatic principle to separate the molecules of water and oxygen transported by the air, hydrogen ions with a positive charge (H+) and oxygen ions with a negative charge (O2-) are produced which bind to the surface of bacteria, fungi, viruses , allergens and the like by breaking down the proteins on their surface
Thanks to its porosity and chemical characteristics, air purification with an activated carbon filter is capable of adsorbing many particulates and pollutants such as dust, mold spores, smoke, traces of commonly used chemical products household, benzene and other VOCs. The activated carbon filter also helps eliminate unpleasant odors.
PCO (Photo Catalytic Oxydation) technology is a chemical process that reproduces what happens in nature thanks to the sun. With the combined action of controlled-frequency UV-C rays, the humidity present in the air (≥20%) and titanium dioxide, it is able to destroy polluting substances such as bacteria, viruses, molds, as well as allergens and odors, without emitting harmful by-products. Based on the data obtained from the tests carried out by the laboratories of the University of Bologna, Department of Pharmacy and Biotechnology, “the environmental treatment of aerosols containing BCoV viral particles causes a loss of the amount of detectable virus greater than 99.99% (≤ 99.999 %), overall for the filtration process and for the sanitation programs tested. A reduction of the same order of magnitude is also observed for the residual infectivity of the virus recovered from the same samples, following a replicative cycle of 72h (99.998% In conclusion, the device tested under the described experimental conditions proved to be effective in removing and reducing the viral activity of the coronavirus investigated as a model system for the SARS-CoV2 (Covid-19) virus”.
